COUNTY CLEAN-UP DAY:
The annual County Clean-Up Day has been launched and everyone in the county is being asked to get involved and play their part. Now in its seventh year and with the support of Kerry County Council and KWD Recycling, the County Clean-up will take place on Saturday, 13th April. We at John Mitchel's will be taking part in this initiative and we will be calling on members to volunteer a little of their time on the day....

CLOTHES COLLECTION:

We have joined up with St Vincent De Paul to rise much needed funds for both John Mitchel's and SVP. Vincent's charity shops are a very important aspect of the service SVP provides. Not only do they provide people with new and lightly worn items at affordable prices, they also provide an income source for the Society, which is recycled directly back into the community.
By donating your second-hand clothes and unwanted items to your closest charity shops, not only will you be freeing up space in your home, you will also be making a difference to people in need, in your community.
We now have an SVP clothes bank in our car park at our state-of-the-art sports facility in Ballyseedy.
What you can donate:
Good quality, clean unwanted and used clothes and shoes
